An exciting kitesurfing course with an IKO instructor to turn any complete novice into a kitesurfer.

Progressive training

This 9 hour kitesurfing course is spread over a period of 3 days following the famous International Kiteboarding Organisation (IKO) steps. You’ll be rest assured to go at your own pace whilst your instructor constantly monitors your abilities and pushing you to achieve each goal and exercise. All the essential skills are covered such as assessing the wind, safety skills, advanced kite control and riding the board. The ultimate goal is for you to become an independent kitesurfer.

Develop all the essential skills over separate sessions

Spread over 3 days. you’ll have chance to self-evaluate your skills and visualise the next. Each session will be slightly different with varied wind conditions, tide and possibly even location. This creates great experience and helps you to develop your kitesurfing knowledge and skills.

Packed with loads of FUN!

Your lesson will be with an experienced IKO instructor who will motivate, coach and push you to achieve every goal giving you fantastic progression using the safest possible methods.

Levels covered:  Discovery L1 and L2 Intermediate*

* Level achieved is dependant on student progression. Our instructors adapt to each individuals needs and abilities.

Zenith Kiting is proud to be an IKO affiliated Pro Kitesurfing School which means all our instructors are IKO qualified respecting the strict standards set by the IKO. We even have our very own IKO Examiner Matty Hurrell which is simply top of the chain.

All students will receive an official IKO certification once they’ve completed their training which is recognised all over the world.

  • What is the duration of the lesson?

    9 hours over 3 days

  • When do lessons take place?

    We are available 7 days a week following the wind and tide. Simply contact us with some preference on dates and we’ll check availabilty.

  • What happens if the weather’s inappropriate?

    If we cannot start or continue the lesson don’t worry. We will re-schedule for another time.

  • How many people on the lesson?

    We offer either private or small group sessions. Please let us know your preference.

  • What do I need to bring?

    We supply you with all the latest kit. Make sure to wear suitable clothing for the weather on the day. Bring a towel, swim wear, sun glasses, sun cream, food and water. If you have your own wetsuit bring it along.

Intro, Day 1 - Week 1

I was recommended to reach out to Matty from Zenith Kiting to get started with an intro to Kite Surfing. From the outset, I received a prompt reply and managed to get booked in for the same day. The lesson plan started off with hands on instruction to all the kit and covered all the questions I had without having to ask. Throughout the session, the content was aimed at exactly the right tempo for my learning style and feel that I got the maximum training value out of our time together.
