The 2012 season for all water boardsports is looking epic so far. For kitesurfers and windsurfers we’ve already had some good winds fueling some amazing sessions. Although we’re forever praying for a constant supply of wind we unfortunately don’t get blessed with such luxuries in the UK. HOWEVER, don’t worry any more because we now have a local wakeboarding cable park in Essex, Festival Wakeboard Park. A perfect playground for those no wind days, PLUS to add a cherry on the icing Wet ‘n’ Dry Boardsports team have opened a sister shop at the wakeboarding venue, Festival Boardsports.
This is fantastic news so not only do we get to wiz around on the cable park hitting sliders and kickers we also get to shop in the PIMPED out new store and see the friendly faces of Jamie & Al to make us tea and give us great advice on kit.
Festival Boardsports is located in Basildon, Essex just a few minutes from the A12 and within the Festival Retail Park (aka Bas Vegas), cleverly nicknamed for its huge selection of venues including, night clubs, a cinema, bowling alley, Restaurants and much more.
Zenith Kiting works in association with Wet ‘n’ Dry Boardsports and we’re great friends with the owners & staff within both stores. We will be making frequent visits to the store when we’re either not kitesurfing or teaching kitesurfing lessons in Essex. If you fancy visiting the shop and testing out the Wakeboard Park give us a shout, perhaps we can all have a day out.
